Motorsport Total at the Leeb Circuit Trophy (17.-19.May)

Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup

After the season opener in Monza, Italy, the Drexler-Automotive Formula is coming to its second station in Styria. The Red Bull Ring will be the venue for the Leeb Circuit Trophy from 17 to 19 May with a class field. In addition to the FIA CEZ series with touring cars, GT vehicles and formula cars, the P9 Challenge with GT´s and the Sports Car Challenge will be there. The programme is complemented by the Renault Clio Cup Central Europe and the KIA Platinium Cup. On both days (18-19 May) fans can visit all spectator seats and the paddock - free of charge. Not only coordinator Franz Wöss is looking forward to the 2nd round of the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup. "We expect a strong field at the Red Bull Ring. More than 30 formula racing cars, especially Formula 3, will provide real excitement and action". Overall organiser Gerhard Leeb sees things in a similar light. For him, the annual event has become an integral part of the Austrian circuit racing calendar. The Leeb Circuit Trophy has a long tradition and presents itself as one of the top-class events before Formula 1 stops in Spielberg on 30 June. "On these two days we offer circuit racing with 15 races at the highest level and are happy for the fans that we can offer both race days free of charge for all visitors", says Gerhard Leeb.

Sandro Zeller (Jo Zeller Racing) has started the new season in the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup in the royal park of Monza with a double victory. Well prepared before the start of the season in Monza (ITA)

Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup

The Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup is well prepared before the start of the season in Monza. During the winter break, the Formula 3, Formula Renault and Formula 4 series received plenty of requests from teams and drivers to participate. "In fact, we had about 50 requests from almost all of Europe for our series. This is perfectly normal at this point in time, as the teams want to find out about possible entries in formula racing series in Europe and want planning security where you could consider a commitment," says coordinator Franz Wöss.
